Right next to the restaurant the first vegetarian butcher of Switzerland opened his doors in November 2013. He offers a 'Grab & Go' system of their Hiltl specialities and at the counter you get meat alternatives.
Reservations are a must, because the restaurant is very small. After a cheese fondue we recommend ordering some of the very good cherry brandy.
This is the place to come for a good selection of sausages. 20 different kinds of sausages, try the Kanonenwurst, preferably with a dark beer.
The hot chocolate at Schober´s is considered to be the best in Zurich. A delicious apple strudel with vanilla sauce fits perfectly.
