Shibuya is famous for its scramble crossing. It is located in front of the Shibuya Station Hachikō exit and stops vehicles in all directions to allow pedestrians to inundate the entire intersection. The statue of the dog Hachikō, who is remembered for his remarkable loyalty to his owner which continued for many years after his owner's death, between the station and the intersection, is a common meeting place and almost always crowded.
The museum is located inside the large Ueno Park, which is a great place for strolling around on a sunny day.
We recommend seeing the Tokyo Tower at night, when it changes colors.
Ensure to reserve tickets well in advance (about 1 month), as entrance is limited to a small number of visitors and reservation is required. This can be done via travel agencies from outside of Japan or in the Lawson convenience stores all over Japan.
