Go for the Kofta, it is an Turkish meatball dish and consists of balls of minced meat – usually beef or lamb – mixed with spices and/or onions. You might also try the “izagra köfte”, made of lamb.
The menu changes daily. Ask for the recommendation of the day and let yourself be surprised. You can also order only half portions in order to try as many dishes as possible.
If you come on your own and feel like walking, make the 15-minute stroll uphill from Eyüp through a charming cemetery or take the cable car, and walk down to Eyüp after your coffee.
We recommend "Hassa Bourek" - traditional Turkish flatbread layered and rolled with ‘’tulum’’ cheese and a blend of green olives, walnuts, yoghurt, spring onions and tarragon.
