In the footsteps of Sisi

In April 1854 the magnificent wedding between Sisi and Franz Joseph took place in the Augustinian’s Church.

Schönbrunn Palace is Sisi's former summer residence. 1830 Emperor Franz Joseph was born in here.

Afters Sisi's death the ceremonial funeral took place in the Kapuzinergruft on September the 17th. Her tragic death was the ignition spark that started Elisabeth’s immortality.
