Riverview (2006 population: 17,832) is a Canadian town in Albert County, New Brunswick, Canada.
Riverview is located on the south side of the Petitcodiac River, across from the much larger cities of Moncton and Dieppe. Riverview has an area of 34 square kilometres (13 sq mi), and a population density of 526.3 inhabitants per square kilometre (1,363 /sq mi). Riverview's slogan is "A great place to grow".
Riverview first became a permanent settlement when settlers from Yorkshire, England, settled there in 1733. The town features elementary schools, a middle school, a high school, an outdoor swimming pool, a full size indoor swimming pool connected with the high school , The Riverview Arts Center , many parks/sports fields, two hockey rinks , as well as several family-owned shops and churches servicing the surrounding area. The town is also home to one of seven NAVCANADA Area Control Centres, serving Air Traffic over New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia.
The town is served by Ambulance New Brunswick, Riverview Fire & Rescue, and the Codiac RCMP.
