Brixlegg is a market town since 1927 in the Kufstein district and is located 16.50 km west of Wörgl as well as 27.5 km southwest of Kufstein. The village was mentioned for the first time as „Prisslech“ in documents in 788. It has 2830 inhabitants. It is famous amongst the skateboard scene for "The Cradle" a large outdoor skatearena, that also hosts international competitions. Town twinning: Aichach (Germany)
