Basel Badischer Bahnhof is a railway station situated in the Swiss city of Basel. Whilst the station is situated on Swiss soil, the platforms and part of the entrance hall are extraterritorial, belonging to Germany, and the station is operated by the German railway company Deutsche Bahn. A border crossing is situated in the passenger tunnel between the tracks and the station hall. The station is one of two large railway stations in Basel, the other being Basel SBB, which is operated by the Swiss federal railways. It is the only "German" railway station which is not located within Germany, and it is listed as a Swiss heritage site of national significance. The station is served by line  S6  of the Basel S-Bahn.
