Stade Olympique de la Pontaise is a multi-purpose stadium in Lausanne, Switzerland. The stadium holds 15,850 people and was built in 1904. During the 1954 FIFA World Cup, the stadium hosted five games. The stadium has hosted concerts by many famous artists, including Bon Jovi, Michael Jackson, Pink Floyd, Prince & The New Power Generation, Mavis Staples, Tina Turner, U2, and The Rolling Stones among others. It is used mostly for football matches. It is currently the homeground of FC Lausanne-Sport, of the Swiss Challenge League. The stadium is also hosting the Diamond League meeting Athletissima Lausanne.
