The École Nationale de l'Aviation Civile (ENAC) is a French grande école and a national French civil aeronautics academy (The French Civil Aviation University). It was founded in 1949 in Paris Orly and moved to Toulouse in 1968. It employs 950 persons, among whom 71% represent the technical and educational staff, 21% belong to the administrative staff and 8% are workmen in different domains. The disciplines united in the school represent a multi-faceted field at a multidisciplinary and international level. All ENAC professors hold post-graduate degrees. Since the 1st of january 2011, it is the biggest aeronautical university in Europe.
