Portela (Portuguese pronunciation: [puɾˈtɛlɐ]) is a parish (freguesia) in the municipality (concelho) of Loures, District of Lisbon (Lisboa), Portugal.
Portela is a high-density residential neighborhood situated on the northeastern section of Lisbon's city boundary. It's the home of 15441 people, most of whom, comute to Lisbon for work and leisure. It is located at barely 2 km from Lisbon's Airport and is directly connected to the intersecton of two of Portugal's main road axis: (A1) Lisbon - Oporto motorway and (A12-IC17CRIL) Vasco da Gama bridge - Lisbon's Ring Road.
