"L'horloge fleurie" (or "flower clock") was - with its diameter of 5 metres - the largest of its kind in the world until the installation of a 15 metres flower clock in Tehran, Iran on the 7th June 2005. Geneva's "L'horloge fleurie" was created in 1955 as a symbol of the city's clockmakers and dedication to nature. It is situated at the western edge of the Jardin Anglais.
