Maple Shade High School is a comprehensive community public high school that serves students in seventh through twelfth grade from Maple Shade Township, in Burlington County, New Jersey, United States, as part of the Maple Shade School District. As of the 2008-09 school year, the school had an enrollment of 896 students and 62.2 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 14.4. The school was the 301st-ranked public high school in New Jersey out of 322 schools statewide, in New Jersey Monthly magazine's September 2010 cover story on the state's "Top Public High Schools", after being ranked 271st in 2008 out of 316 schools. The school was ranked 253rd in the magazine's September 2006 issue, which surveyed 316 schools across the state. Prior to the school's opening in 1972, many of the township's students were sent to the now-defunct Merchantville High School in neighboring Camden County.
