Stoke Newington

Europe, United Kingdom, London

Stoke Newington railway station links Stoke Newington to Liverpool Street in central London, and to Cheshunt and Enfield Town further north. Trains generally run every fifteen minutes. The station is on the White Hart Lane branch of the Lea Valley Lines, and almost all trains passing through the station stop there. The smoked glass/steel-framed ticket office was built in the early 1980s to replace the original ticket office on the same site. The platforms are located in a narrow cutting and are accessed by uncovered concrete staircases also installed at this time. Stoke Newington is in Travelcard Zone 2.
