Vevelstad is a municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It is part of the Helgeland traditional region. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Vevelstad. The municipality lies in the middle of Norway, surrounded by mountains and fjords. Vevelstad was separated from the municipality of Tjøtta on 1 July 1916.
