Forgaria nel Friuli is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Udine in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about 90 km northwest of Trieste and about 25 km northwest of Udine. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,944 and an area of 29.2 km². Forgaria nel Friuli borders the following municipalities: Majano, Osoppo, Pinzano al Tagliamento, Ragogna, San Daniele del Friuli, Trasaghis, Vito d'Asio.
